The Real Manifestation Roadmap: How to Align with What’s Meant for You
If you’d asked me years ago whether I believed in manifestation, I probably would’ve laughed in your face. I was raised in the Midwest, where we work hard, then work harder, to make things happen. Effort was the currency of worth. You plowed the fields, put in your hours, and didn’t expect anything you hadn’t earned.
There was also this unspoken narrative about luck. If something came easily, you were either lucky or someone’s trust fund baby. And in that world, not working for something meant you didn’t deserve it.
Even then, though, I was intuitive. I always had a direct line to something deeper, even if I didn’t have the language for it. One thing I heard over and over was: you have to feel to deal to heal. That wasn’t exactly a thing in small-town Kansas. We didn’t really have the language for emotions or how to process them. Everyone was just doing their best with what they knew.
Still, that phrase stayed with me. I didn’t realize it then, but it was the foundation of true manifestation. You can’t call in what you want while you’re suppressing what you feel. Healing and creating are part of the same process—it starts with emotional honesty.
What I understand now about manifestation has been deeply shaped by the work of To Be Magnetic® (TBM), a method created by Lacy Phillips. Their framework completely reframed how I think about self-worth, healing, and expansion. What follows is my lived interpretation—how I’ve experienced and embodied their teachings through my own intuitive and nervous system–based lens.
Step 1: Find the Blocks — Awareness Through Compassion
In the TBM process, manifestation begins with finding the blocks. You can’t manifest from a place you don’t believe in, and those beliefs live deep in the subconscious.
Mine sounded like:
- You have to work hard for everything you get.
- Rest is lazy.
- Ease means you’re not trying hard enough.
Those beliefs made me push and grind even when my intuition was begging me to slow down. Over time, I learned that resistance wasn’t laziness—it was protection. My nervous system didn’t yet feel safe letting life be easy.
Awareness is where everything begins. You can’t heal what you won’t acknowledge, and you can’t shame yourself into change. The only way to soften those blocks is through compassion.

Step 2: Heal Through Nervous System Regulation
When I started looking deeper at manifestation, I realized my biggest block wasn’t mindset—it was reactivity. I was sensitive, easily triggered, constantly on guard. When you spend your life trying to be the “good girl,” all those suppressed feelings eventually boil over. You stay busy to avoid the noise—working, scrolling, cleaning, binging Netflix—but that’s not rest. That’s avoidance.
In the TBM framework, this is where regulation comes in. It’s about teaching your body that peace is safe. True healing isn’t pretending to be calm—it’s becoming calm. It looks like slowing down, pausing before reacting, and letting feelings move through instead of fixing or fighting them. I used to tell myself I was resting, but my body didn’t have “rest” in its subconscious yet. Stillness felt dangerous. I had to reteach my system that safety doesn’t come from doing—it comes from presence.
When your body begins to feel safe, your imagination and energy can finally create. That’s when expansion starts to happen.
Step 3: Expand — Teach Your Subconscious What’s Possible
In TBM, this step is called expansion—teaching your subconscious what’s possible. But before expansion, I met the mirrors.
The universe always mirrors your current vibration. I kept attracting women who were living the same pain I was—same heartbreaks, same self-doubt, same patterns. It reminded me of that old saying: birds of a feather flock together. I wasn’t meeting expanders yet; I was meeting my reflection.
Those mirrors weren’t there to inspire me; they were there to reveal me—to show where I was still looping through fear or low self-worth. Once I began seeing those reflections for what they were, I was finally ready to find expanders.
Expanders are the people who reflect what’s possible—not the pain you’re leaving behind, but the frequency you’re stepping into. And sometimes they come in pieces. They are known as fragment expanders. One woman might model emotional peace. Another might embody creative freedom. Someone else may show financial alignment. Each becomes living proof that pieces of your dream life already exist in the world. Once your brain has that evidence, it starts believing, this could be me too.
You don’t wait for expanders; you find them. Seek people who live intentionally, who inspire calm instead of chaos, who help you envision living a fulfilling and purposeful life.

Step 4: Take Aligned Action — Let Faith Lead the Way
When I found my expanders and began feeling worthy of more, the universe sent tests. They weren’t punishments; they were invitations—chances to choose differently.
Tests appear when you’ve stripped away what no longer serves you. They confirm that you’ve broken old patterns and can hold a new energetic level. They show up as familiar opportunities asking, are you sure you want this? Will you settle for less? Will you return to old programming? Each test asks whether your nervous system and subconscious truly believe you’re ready.
All manifestations are rooted in self-worth. Once your worth rises, action follows. Aligned action means following intuitive hits and doing the things that move you closer to your goals—from a calm, trusting energy. It’s how you show the universe you’re serious.
Aligned action feels like:
- Taking the next right step, even if it’s small.
- Following intuitive nudges that make no logical sense but feel right.
- Saying no to what drains your energy.
- Acting as if what you want is already yours.
Your intuition doesn’t test you—she supports you. The universe tests; intuition guides. Each time you choose alignment over fear, your frequency rises and your reality adjusts to match it.
Step 5: Trust + Surrender — The Feminine Flow of Receiving
After aligned action comes the hardest—and most beautiful—part: waiting without wavering. Surrender isn’t giving up; it’s grounded faith—the moment your nervous system and subconscious agree that you are safe to receive.
You’ve done the work: healed, expanded, acted from worth. Now, let the universe rearrange what’s already yours.
Trust that what you’ve called in is finding its way. Allow yourself to rest instead of forcing outcomes. Let go of timelines so your energy stays clean. When fear whispers, what if it doesn’t happen? ask back, but what if it does?
Surrender is nervous-system regulation in real time. It’s how you anchor the frequency you’ve become. When you notice yourself wanting to control, pause and breathe. Return to your grounding rituals—cooking, journaling, walking outside. Celebrate micro-proof. Count how many times your trust has already paid off. Every answered prayer, every unexpected ease is evidence that your energy works. When you collect proof of what has already worked, you stop living in doubt and start living in data—energetic evidence that faith has never failed you.
Your intuition will always support you through the waiting. She’ll whisper wait, pivot, go now. Listening is how you stay steady while everything else moves into place.
Bringing It All Together
Manifestation isn’t about luck or wishing harder—it’s about self-worth embodied. The TBM roadmap taught me that healing, expansion, and surrender are all part of one conversation with the universe. You raise your frequency not through perfection but through self-worth in action.
- Find the Blocks — Bring awareness to what’s been running the show.
- Heal Through Regulation — Create safety in your body.
- Expand — Gather proof of what’s possible.
- Take Aligned Action — Move from intuition and worth.
- Trust + Surrender — Hold steady while life catches up.
The more you believe you’re worthy of peace, love, and fulfillment, the more naturally the universe mirrors it back.
Ready for Clarity?
If you’re ready to move from “doing the work” to understanding what’s actually in the way, I’d love to support you.
A Clarity Experience helps you identify the energetic and emotional blocks keeping your manifestations from landing. It’s part intuitive channeling, part deep reflection—designed to help you see your patterns clearly so you can finally move forward.
You don’t need another affirmation or vision board. You need awareness—the kind that shifts everything. If you’re ready for someone who’s done the work and channels energy blocks with compassion and precision, I’m your girl.
